Operating in a highly regulated, fast-growing environment, the organization is committed to scientific excellence, strong governance, and operational rigor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Position Summary:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Senior Accountant is a key individual contributor within a growing&nbsp;Accounting&nbsp;team and plays a critical role in managing general ledger (GL) close activities and financial reporting support. This role requires close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders, auditors, and third-party partners in a dynamic public-company setting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage monthly close activities for assigned GL accounts, including but not limited to:\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Long-term debt\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Royalty monetization and embedded derivative liabilities\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Software capitalization (ASC 350-40)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lease accounting (ASC 842)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fixed assets, G&amp;A prepayments, and accruals\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare and post journal entries with complete supporting documentation\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and fluctuation analyses\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain\u00a0amortization schedules for leases and royalty-related liabilities\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review contracts and\u00a0purchase\u00a0orders for proper accounting treatment\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare\u00a0rollforward\u00a0schedules and support footnote disclosures for SEC filings (10-Q \/ 10-K)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinate with business units to manage accruals, prepayments, and resolve open items\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare audit and tax schedules and respond to PBC and follow-up requests\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Execute and document SOX controls in compliance with internal control requirements\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaborate with accounting team members to meet close and reporting deadlines\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drive process improvements, including the use of AI tools and automation\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support ad hoc projects to streamline close and accounting operations\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting\u00a0(CPA preferred)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7+ years of relevant accounting experience in a public company environment\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Combination of Big 4 (or equivalent) SEC client experience and industry experience strongly preferred\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Biotech or life sciences experience is a plus\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advanced\u00a0proficiency\u00a0in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience using AI-enabled tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>AI &amp;
